If Manny Ramirez really wanted to show some respect to his new manager and teammates on the Dodgers, he would at least try to conform to the team image.
In my opinion, a haircut would be a great start. don;t get me wrong, I have nothing against long, clean hair, however, this is still considered the National pastime and many kids look upon players like Manny as their hero. I do not believe this 'Me, me, me' attitude should be permitted.
No matter how we may feel about sports figures being looked up to, and being considered hero's, it does happen.
Now you might say this is not right, and I agree. However, when a player such as Manny received more that 20 Million dollars a year, part of his obligation should be to a 'role model' of sorts to the kids that look up to him. A kids true role models should be their parents. however, we all know how much sport heroes do affect kids, who idolize them.
